Jefferson Manor Park
Not shaded. The approach to the playground area is very hilly, so this is a good one for walking children or your jogging stroller. The park is not enclosed, but there’s an entire athletic field between the playground and the street. Parking is in a small, off street lot. There are restrooms during spring and summer- they’re closed in the winter time.

MVUC/Ft Hunt Natural Playground
Playground is in use by the Ft Hunt preschool weekday mornings during the school year and Tuesdays in summertime. Open to the public at other times. Play structure is made of recycled bottles and the other features are sustainable, renewable, re-purposed, or second hand. Come enjoy the giant sandbox, the story telling area, the boxwood tunnel, and more.

Playground has rubber surface underfoot and is completely fenced. No restrooms. The equipment is appropriate for young toddlers on up. Parking is on-street, no meters. Not shady.
