Stafford Drive Park features a barrier-free playground, rectangular synthetic turf field, restroom facility, water fountains, seating areas, native plants, 140 new trees, a parking area, ½ mile of trails (natural and paved), bio-retention/rain garden facility and connectivity to the city-wide trail system.

Two playground set ups (one for younger kids and one for older children) small seating area to observe. Small store sells juices, candy and misc (not a lot of snacks). Lots of parking. Can rent building space. Has horse back riding lessons available for older children. Has picnic area also.

The Armory Tot Lot in the City of Alexandria is a favorite. It’s perfect for the 0-4 age group. Also great for those with multiple children. It’s small, sandbox, bucket swings and climbing structure. Best part is that it’s fenced in, so no losing kiddos or chasing two in different directions.

Loaded with cute, challenging play equipment, this playground is not shaded and opens onto the parking lot. Available for play during non-school hours. Accessible swings, lots of slides. Mulch surface. Plenty of parking in the attached lot when school is out.
