I will scope out the new location and update this post ASAP!
Habitat for Humanity Restore (Richmond Hwy)
This is what you get if you cross a Goodwill with Home Depot. If you need something for a home remodeling project, it’s worth checking- prices are good and they even have some high end and antique items! Some items are new and some are used. They have everything from windows and doors to sinks to light fixtures! (They have kitchen appliances and some furniture items, too…)
Consider carefully before you take the kids. On my most recent visit, the store was tidy and most of the aisles were clear, but you may want a stroller, carrier, or a helpful adult along to keep them from getting into trouble. Lots of the items here are large and/or dangerous, so very close supervision is necessary. There is a HUGE ceiling fan on the ceiling of the store, which was definitely the high point of our visit for my toddler.
We got a replacement refrigerator there and were delighted to find out that they keep a list of independent haulers who will, for a reasonable fee, pick up large items and transport them for you. We can highly recommend Curtis, if he is available.

Update: I continue to love this place. I stopped in last weekend for a quick look around and got a new post light for less than 1/3 retail and I found a sweet deal on these three Ethan & Allen chairs that go with my existing furniture:
