There is a “tamer” area of the park meant just for little ones, and the entire sprayground is Zero Depth for lots of non-swimming water fun. The sprayground is enclosed but the gate is open to Chessie’s Big Back Yard. Parents will want to be alert to the fact that children frequently run out the gate to the playground without telling their parents.
You will need water shoes. Park rules state: Street shoes may not be worn past the gate. And the pad surface can be quite slippery, so you will want your child to be wearing them for safety reasons.
