This great playspace is located behind the building. There is also a fenced in tennis court. The kids loved the slides and climbing the steps! There are also baby swings. Playground is partly shaded at certain times of day. Portolet is available on the other side of the tennis courts.
Surface is mulch. Play structures are fairly low to the ground, and there are fewer than average places for little kids to fall off. The parking situation is a little limited during business hours, as this former school building is now the Fairfax County Office of Information Technology Operations. There is on-street parking nearby and the parking lot is available during non-business hours.
Playground is not enclosed, but also is not near the street. Lots of open space surrounding the playground, and an athletic field nearby.
